The head has been redesigned to create a lower and deeper CG than the original Edge CFT Hybrid for enhanced playability and a wider array of shot making possibilities. The optimal CG position makes this club easier to hit, with a higher trajectory and greater forgiveness from anywhere on the course. The stock graphite shaft is the Aldila NVS Hybrid, which features the same performance and feel of the original NV, with a higher launch and more responsive tip for a higher ball flight. The stock steel shaft is the True Temper Crossfire, the first alloy shaft designed specifically for hybrid clubs with reduced weight for greater accuracy and distance and a mid-flex tip design to get the ball in the air easily while maintaining ultimate control.
