The clubhead consists of three-part construction - a lightweight crown plate, a heavy body and a precision-cast Callaway Weight Chip welded into the inside of the clubhead. This is enhanced by the use of a new forged crown plate which is stronger and lighter, further lowering the center of gravity in each Steelhead Plus Wood. And the exclusive Callaway Golf Variable Weight Chips have been repositioned to calibrate the center of gravity for maximum performance. Using Variable Face Thickness Technology, the face area is thickest near the center and thinner around the perimeter to optimize energy transfer and create the desired trajectory in each driver and fairway wood.
